Which whole cut is best for me?
Deploy fancy steak dinners in minutes? Go with the filet. Want ultimate versatility and to feed a lot of people? The Loin is your champion. Need to unshackle yourself from civilized society? Bone-in Ribs shall set you free. Seek meat transcending space and time? Meaty Meat will find you. For plant-based fish that's as flaky and buttery as a damn croissant, try Kinda Salmon or Kinda Cod.
What is the difference between the loin and filet?
The Loin and the Filet have the same texture and flavour. The Loin is simply bigger and allows you to create different cuts of meat (chunks, slices, flank steaks, etc).
Is your meat 3D printed?
Nope. They use a simple process involving a pinch of Newtonian physics, some beet juice, and a dash of intellectual property. Not 3D printed.
Are your ingredients GMO-free?
Yes. All ingredients are GMO-free.
Are your ingredients organic?
No, however products are produced in the European Union where they must meet strict EU standards (even stricter than the US). They carefully select high-quality, non-GMO ingredients, and every product undergoes thorough testing and inspection.
Are your products Kosher?
Not yet - they are working on it.
Are your products gluten-free?
They don't use gluten in products or production. However, since they don't test every batch for small traces of gluten, products are not certified gluten-free.
Is Juicy Marbles healthy?
In Europe, earned the highest possible Nutriscore of A. Products are packed with essential micronutrients like iron and B12, high in fiber, at least 20g of complete protein per serving, zero cholesterol, and low saturated fat. Same SPR (sensual pleasure response) as meat.
Are you planning to drop the prices?
They are still a relatively small outfit and don't benefit from the same economies of scale as huge companies. As they scale, they will continue dropping prices.
Products out of stock - when restocked?
Products are usually restocked within a few weeks. Sign up to the "Notify Me" lists on product pages or the Juicy Newsletter for restock notifications.
Ingredients and Nutrition
What are the bones made of? (Baby Ribs)
"Pure, pristine, unadulterated, complete, happy, soy-protein, bro." The bones are made of soy protein concentrate and are edible.
What is the deal with natural flavors?
"Natural flavors" is an umbrella-term for vegetable-derived flavorings - a glorified spice mix that creates a meaty flavor profile. The exact mix is proprietary. Contact support.us@juicymarbles.com for allergy concerns.
What's the deal with carrageenan?
Carrageenan is a plant-based gelatin derived from seaweed (Carageen Moss). It accounts for less than 1% of the recipe but gives the meats that satisfying bite. Approved by JECFA, EFSA (re-evaluated 2018), and FDA (GRAS). Type used: kappa-carrageenan (refined). Newer products (Baby Ribs, Meaty Meats) use Marbles 3.0 recipe and don't contain carrageenan or methylcellulose.
What's the deal with soy?
Soy is a staple for half the world's population for thousands of years. It has a complete amino acid profile plus beneficial micronutrients. Only about 7% of soy crops go to human food (76% to livestock, 17% to oil/industry) per Oxford University. Juicy Marbles uses non-GMO soy from Europe.
Allergens?
All meats contain soy. Kinda Cod and Kinda Salmon also contain mycoprotein (fungi-based mycelium) - avoid if sensitive to fungi, mold, mushrooms, or yeast.
